April Ross, a beach volleyball player American She is one of a small group of women who have had medals won in more than one Olympics. In Tokyo during the next few days, she'll try to win her third gold medal with fellow first-time Olympian Alix Klineman. Ross is hoping to secure her Olympic the first medal of gold however, she also hopes to win more. It could be the last time she has the chance to do so at the age of 39. But she's convinced that the top awards are at hand. Ross was mentioned by NBC Boston as saying that If you put in your highest, and even play well we will get the gold. "I'm planning to test a little luck." Ross is born in the year 1982. Costa Mesa California where she lived with her parents and sister. She was able to participate in many sports in Newport Harbor High School. Her pre-athletic career comprised indoor volleyball, as well as basketball as well as running and track. When she played in the final sport she was clearly the standout. According to her bio, she played an outside blocker as well as a middle hitter on the volleyball court during her high-school career. Gatorade Circle Of Champions named her the National Player of 1999. The 2000 Orange County Athlete of the Month was also received by her in volleyball. Ross and Klineman have been performing their roles from 2017. However, Ross played a significant role on the beach volleyball circuit before the pairing. She's won big tournaments twice with different partners. The other is an iconic player in the volleyball world. Jennifer Kessy was her partner for six years, from 2007 to 2013. Also, she coached Klineman as well as herself. Alongside Kessy Ross was a force on the international circuit winning an international title in 2009. They eventually won an Olympic silver medal during the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Misty May, Kerri Walsh and Kerri Jennings were the trio to beat out for gold. The fate of the matter was that Ross became Walsh Jennings' new partner after May-Treanor's retirement. In 2016, the duo took bronze at the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross competed for USC Trojans throughout her college years before becoming a professional. The time she spent in the Trojans' ranks was one to remember. When she was a freshman in 2000, her play earned her the Pac-10 as well as NCAA the Freshman of the Year award. Her performance also assisted in helping the Trojans get to into the Final Four. The Trojans suffered a significant personal loss during her sophomore year, however, she was capable of achieving the All-American title. Over her final 2 years of participation in the Trojans team, she led them to a national title each year. The achievements of each individual have established her status as a legend in volleyball. She was awarded the Honda Sports Award 2003-04 for the top female NCAA player. Ross took a course in the study of international relations in USC. Margie Ross didn't get to see Ross become the highest beach volleyball levels. Ross's mother died of breast cancer while she was a sophomore in USC. But, she will always keep her mother's memory close and close. Margie remains a constant source of inspiration for her, both in and out of the water.
