Emily Bett Rickards, born on July 24 1991 in Canada, is a Canadian actor who is best famous for her character Felicity Smoak on The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards was born on the coast of British Columbia, is Canadian. Starting her professional path at a young age, she began to explore dance and theatre with the hope of later taking on more serious acting. The path to her career began in the early after she completed high school and went to the Vancouver Film School. There she took the acting Essentials course. Following the completion of the course, she auditioned for an open audition that led her to the services of a booking agent. Alida Vocal Studio taught her. The chemistry she shared with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the fans, and the sarcastic comments she made led to being initially signed as a single-episode Guest Star.
